MI-11 Candidate: This Ain’t Your Father’s Democrat Party

Whenever we point out that modern day Democrats are socialists, we are met with oleaginous protestations from our opponents.  “Oh, come on,” they say; “there you go again with the hyperbole.”  The reality is that the modern day Democrat Party has nothing in common with the Democrat Party of previous generations.  Redistributing wealth is text book socialism, and it is exactly what Democrats openly promote.

Take a look at the Democrat candidate for Congress in Michigan-11, for example.  Sayed Taj has been endorsed by the “Greater Detroit Democrat Socialists of America.”  On their facebook page, they brag about raising money for Taj.  This is an organization that openly flaunts “Democratic Socialism” (yes, you’ve heard that name somewhere) and advocates for state ownership of major industries.  Unsurprisingly, they are involved with Occupy Wall Street.

Remember that MI-11 is considered a swing district, and with Thad McCotter vacating the seat, Democrats have a chance to win it.  Taj is the Democrat nominee in good standing with the party.  It really tells you something when the socialists feel comfortable campaigning for Democrat candidates.

Folks, we don’t need more socialists in Congress, especially from a seat that should go Republican.  We’ve endorsed Kerry Bentivolio from day one.  He is the antithesis of Sayed Taj.  Kerry will join the Rand Paul wing of limited government conservatives in Congress, and fight the liberals in both parties.

Elections really do have consequences.  In MI-11 it’s a socialist vs, a Constitutional conservative.  So which one is it going to be?  Please help Kerry fight the Socialist/Big Labor machine in the final weeks.
