A Chart Worth a ‘Trillion’ Words

The Heritage Foundation has posted a chart which depicts everything you need to know about the so-called fiscal cliff debate.  Even if we agree to the inane idea that it’s prudent to raise taxes, it’s like focusing on the needle in the haystack.  It is absolutely insane for Republicans to agree to any tax increases before Democrats agree to wholesale free market entitlement reform:

    If the Republicans agree to a tax increase on those making over $200-250,000/year on the promise that the Democrats will later tackle tax code reform, they are more naive than the 47% who voted for obummer. Once the Dems get what they want and gain political leverage with their constituents (who absolutely dispise the wealthy people who pay for their largess), that will be the end of the story.
