Who says you can’t elect an unvarnished conservative from a swing district? Michigan 11 is a district that Obama won in 2008, yet Kerry Bentivolio, a man who is evidently too conservative for many Republicans to even support, is leading his Democrat opponent by 8 points. Then again, his Muslim opponent, Sayed Taj, is a committed socialist.
