Amidst all the bravado evinced by the media over the electoral fortunes of their Democrat friends, there is a little known electoral data point that has flown under the radar.  Democrats have lost 800,000 voters in 8 key swing states.

According to analysis conducted by Democrat think tank Third Way and obtained by Politico, Democrats have lost 800,329 voters while Republicans have lost just 78,985, due to the rise of independent voters in swing states.  Here is the breakdown:

As you can see, Democrats are particularly hard hit in Florida, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania.  Republicans are in the best shape in Iowa, where their rolls have increased while those of Democrats and independents have decreased.

Aside for the positive news regarding the deficit between the Democrat and Republican losses, this data provides us with an opportunity to target new independent voters in key states.  Many people are turned off by both parties and are now registering as independents.  By virtue of them not registering as Democrats, these voters obviously have some commonsense.  However, typical Republican GOTV efforts will not work in converting them to our side, being that they are disenchanted with RNC types to begin with.  This is why it is important for independent conservative organizations to target these voters.  Over the next few weeks, we will be announcing an exciting new GOTV operation that will help ordinary conservatives drive the GOTV operation, particularly targeting new independent voters.  This operation will be free of the party apparatus and will have a greater appeal to independent voters.

It is clear that Obama is not the electoral juggernaut the media is making him out to be, but only if we properly mobilize the troops. We’ll be providing our activists with more information on how to help with the operation in the coming weeks.
