Any regular observer of C-SPAN will easily notice a palpable difference in the level of passion between Republicans and Democrats speaking in Congress.  Democrats give raucous speeches full of spurious outrage over the plight of the poor.  Rarely do Republicans argue back from a position of strength and explain passionately how it is the socialist policies of Democrats that kill jobs and grow poverty.

Today, the House passed a bill (H.R. 4078) that prohibits federal agencies from formulating new significant regulations until unemployment dips below 6%.  When Democrats offered a motion that would essentially kill the bill, Rep. Mike Kelly, who is not known for his strident conservatism, gave Republicans a road map for debating against Democrat policies.

Good going, Rep Kelly!
